Assist with all aspects of the production floor requirements, including the assembly and testing of products. Provides Operator training, technical support and solutions to help resolve production problems related to manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment.
1. Perform Manufacturing Operations:
a. Perform assembly and hand operations with specific tooling (screw driver, ruler, calipers, wire strippers, hammer, wire cutters & scales)
b. Operates and adjusts equipment following general instruction. Make simple set-ups and perform routine, preventative maintenance & maintaining weekly calibration.
c. Supply accurate information on labor reporting, material, scrap and process. Detect and report to proper supervision unusual or defective conditions.
d. Epoxy preparation and applications called out on routings/drawings/process sheets. Ability to pull MSDS sheets as needed
e. Execute repetitive assembly and hand operations on product delegated by leadership and/or due dates. Perform simple setups and perform routine preventative maintenance.
f. Conducting training for new employees in the product line to prevent single points of failure. Training encompasses various aspects, including basic tool usage, productivity calculation, inventory management (FiFo, Batch control, Scrap Tickets, Part ID Tags), raising concerns using the QRQC process, instructing on E-timer procedures, real-time completion of scrap tickets, and the ability to recognize and interpret bill of materials on both the DWG and Routing, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with revisions.
g. In-Process Validation as quality checks to verify that the product within your designated work area is assembled, tested, and marked correctly to ensure its accuracy and compliance with standards.
h. Able to build product to print adjustments allowed within the process and benchtop test equipment including but not limited to multimeters and oscilisopes
i. Point of contact for new product development prototype builds and manufacturability consultant
2. Tool Utilization
a. Electrical testing (resistance and dielectric testing) and ability to test products as required and knowledge of power supplies, multi-meters and other equipment as necessary.
b. Verify calibration of equipment and tooling.
c. Must clock 100% of time on site in time tracking software

a. Communicate and contribute to solution path with Engineers, Leads & Supervisors
b. Participate in daily production meetings.
c. Be willing to cross-train in other areas as needed.
d. Able to identify rev control drawing needed and supply drawings to peers

a. Ensure regular, predictable attendance.
b. Be willing to work overtime as required to meet business needs.
c. Perform additional work as necessary by the business.

Basic Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years manufacturing and able to perform all tasks within your department and become the department trainer
• Capable to train others within your work cell
• Performs to routing standards
• Must be willing to become a Safran certified solder (Completing recertification every 2-years).
• Interpret test specs and setup Benchtop troubleshooting measurement equipment, including but not limited to Oscilliscopes, Instron Equipment, Voltage drop at rated current, Mass Spectrometers etc…)
• Must be willing to undergo vision testing depending on customer requirements
Knowledge/Skills
• Fundamental knowledge of electromechanical design strong enough to troubleshoot and repair most issues in one department.
• Able to learn how to perform new tasks quickly

a. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and other manufacturing drawings and specifications.
b. Able to read and interpret electrical wire, insulation and chemical specifications to ensure material and procedures are used
c. Ability to trouble shoot failures.
d. In Process Validation – as a check to ensure the product has been built correctly within your cell
e. Work directly with engineering by providing feedback regarding design which include documents, assembly, redlining, document control, non-conformances, and rework
f. Technical Requests : able to work with leads to submit requests (ATS Tickets, Purchase Req Requests) and smartsheet requests such as the log for tool requests
g. Main point of Contact for RMA investigation and repair. Must be able to find reason for failure and purpose rework method
h. Write up nonconformances in TipQA with accurate predisposition of root cause
4. Health/Safety/Environmental and Continuous Improvement
a. Adhere to plant safety rules.
b. Participate in process improvement activities.
c. Maintain organizational standards within the respective workstation, line, and department. (i.e. 6S)
