Summary:
The HR Manager is responsible for developing HR department goals and objectives along with developing and administering various human resources policies and procedures at Safran Test Cells. The HR Manager is also responsible for Safran Test Cells' employee records, compensation program, training files and handling employee relations. The HR Manager contributes to the organization's success by maintaining personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements and overseeing and directing Health, Safety & Environment and Security activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• In absence of a Director of HR, the HR Manager is responsible for serving as a member of executive management at Safran Test Cells.
• Responsible for overseeing and directing all Health, Safety & Environment activities and Security activities.
• Develop and administer various human resources policies and procedures for all company personnel.
• Responsible for developing department goals and objectives and monitoring all activities.
• Responsible for Safran Test Cells' compensation program; reviews job descriptions as necessary; provides data for annual salary surveys; analyzes compensation; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
• Work with Safran USA Human Resources particularly on benefit enrollment, ADP and SUSA policies and procedures.
• Responsible for any human resource reporting that is required of Safran Aero Boosters and/or Safran (headcount reporting).
• Provide data and maintain affirmative action plan.
• Responsible for training files and ISO compliance of those files.
• Responsible for monitoring recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees.
• Work with department managers to handle employee relations, including; conflict resolution, counseling, onboarding, off boarding and exit interviewing.
• Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements. Keeps employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in timely fashion.
• Ensure data integrity in HRI systems such as ADP, Twist, and E-Talent.
• Manage department resources by maintaining adequate staffing levels to support project work, mentor and train staff, and evaluate their performance in a timely manner.
• Responsible for Safran Test Cells' employee records to include benefits, policies and procedures, and other Safran directed programs.

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field required.
• 4+ years of HR Generalist experience required including 2 years of management experience with increasing responsibilities and direct reports required.

Qualifications:
• Demonstrated knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws.
• Strong communication and influencing skills to manage change and align people behind the direction of the organization.
• Highly developed skill set in project leadership practices including ability to balance risk, effectively influence diverse teams, and ownership of responsibility for outcomes.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully leading projects to completion.
• Excellent change management skills – must be comfortable with ambiguity, methodically work through complex problems, set priorities and execute on commitments.
• Knowledge of principles of effective interpersonal relations and ability to apply this knowledge in conflict resolution.
• Ability to coach others related to performance, work habits and attitude.
• Track record of developing staff, fostering an inclusive work environment, and demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with staff and peers locally and internationally
