We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented intern to join our team and support the review and update of SAP Material Master Data, with a specific focus on Material Group. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SAP data management, commodity group analysis, and the interpretation of technical drawings.
Material Master Data Review
-Conduct a comprehensive review of existing SAP Material Master Data, paying specific attention to Material Group classifications.
-Identify discrepancies, inaccuracies, or outdated information in the material master records.

Material Group Analysis
-Utilize knowledge of commodity groups to accurately categorize materials into appropriate Material Groups based on industry standards and organizational guidelines.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with procurement strategies and supplier relationships.

Technical Drawing Interpretation
-Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications associated with various materials.
-Ensure that Material Group classifications align with the technical attributes and specifications outlined in the drawings.

Data Cleansing and Updating
-Execute data cleansing activities, correcting and updating Material Master Data to enhance accuracy and completeness.
-Work closely with team members to implement changes in SAP and maintain data integrity.

Collaboration and Communication
-Collaborate with stakeholders, including procurement, engineering, and production teams, to gather insights and validate Material Group assignments.
-Communicate effectively with team members and key stakeholders to address inquiries and provide updates on progress.

Documentation
-Maintain accurate documentation of changes made to Material Master Data, ensuring transparency and traceability
-Create and update procedural documentation related to Material Group classification processes.

Parlons de vous

‐ Current enrollment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
‐ Knowledge of commodity groups, material classifications, and SAP Material Master Data.
‐ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
‐ Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
‐ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
‐ Effective communication and teamwork skills.
‐ Eagerness to learn and contribute to process improvements.
