In the role of Engineering Intern, you will assist the Engineering Management Team with: performing administrative tasks, fine-tuning processes, and supporting investigations and projects to help further the Safran company vision, mission, and guiding principles. Our Everett, WA facility is comprised of two business units: Safran Engineering Services and 787 Program. We work closely with the customer to provide engineering solutions and exceptional program support. Safran Electrical & Power looks for service-oriented team players with strong interpersonal skills, the right attitude and adaptability to an innovative and evolving environment.
• Must be a junior or senior pursuing a bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
• Must have completed 20 hours of college coursework.
• Familiar with Electrical/Mechanical design or installation.
• Familiar with CAD design, 2D and 3D CAD design (e.g., CATIA, AutoCAD, Pro-Engineer).
• Ability to effectively communicate and work in a team environment.
• Proficient knowledge of engineering principles, theories, technologies, and concepts in assigned discipline.
• Ability to understand technical data.
• Capable of resolving design issues by means of problem-solving methodologies.
