What You Will Do:
Builds high-end aircraft cabinetry using a variety of veneers, laminates and composite materials in a timely and efficient fashion ensuring quality standards are attained.

Read: customer specification documents, interprets engineering drawings
Build: drawers and cabinets on medium monuments, shop aids
Lays out: routes for switches, cup holders and inlays; cuts materials on the table saw.
Prepare kerf and fiberglass panels.
Fabricate small sheet metal parts (angles, clips, brackets, etc.); manufacture items needed for final assembly adjustments (shims, blocks, etc.); bond hinge blocks into panels, set doors, drawers, etc.
Consistently meet target hours and completes schedules as set by supervision.
Maintain a neat, organized work area and help with the general daily housekeeping of the department; properly maintains shop tools and equipment.
Produce a quality product consistently.

What You Must Have:
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two years aircraft cabinetry experience
Able to comply with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
Demonstrated skills: mathematical knowledge and ability to apply towards problem solving; read measuring instruments; correctly label parts for re-assemble; build shop aids; fabricate small sheet metal parts (angles, clips, brackets, etc.); manufacture items needed for final assembly adjustments (shims, blocks, etc.)
Ability: communicate in English (read, write and verbally communicate); select and work with proper tools for job task; time-management and organizational skills; climb and work on step stools and/or ladders; to lift 50 lbs. without assistance/able to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance; reach overhead; work in a non-dust-free environment, normal or corrected vision (required to perform exacting tasks); range of motion with both hands; hands: can work in a stooping, kneeling or standing position and in cramped areas
