There are 4 internship positions available in our Power and Control Engineering group. Assigned projects will develop the successful candidates both technically and professionally. A technical mentor and supervisor will be assigned to each intern to ensure an engaging and productive assignment.
The positions will match each of our product line disciplines:
Position 1:This internship is within our rotating equipment product line including air compressors, motors, vacuum generators, water pumps. The selected candidate will learn the fundamentals of mechanical design, components selection, technical documentation and testing of rotating equipment according to aerospace standards.
Position 2: This internship is within our electrical design team where the selected candidate will learn and assist in PCB design, schematics and simulation modeling using Altium, MATLAB/Simulink, hardware design and testing, component technical analysis and board level investigations according to aerospace standards.
Position 3: This internship is within our software design team where the candidate can learn and assist in control software development and generate embedded code for controllers, motor control with signal processing, participate in peer-reviews for software certification activities, and design and build acceptance test equipment according to aerospace standards.
Position 4: This internship is within our Controls Product Line group. The candidate can learn and assist in project management, work package assignment and tracking of action items, facilitate internal and customer design reviews, support presentations for the project executive reporting, maintain and report the project KPIs.

Required Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program with an anticipated graduation date on or after May 2022 or recent graduate.
• Minimum of 60 earned credit hours at commencement of internship
Preferred Qualifications:
• Passion for the aerospace industry
• Academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
