Internship - Business Development M/F

Summary: Reporting to the Manager, Business Operations, this intern will be heavily involved in the day -to-day operations of our five regions and overall operations of the department. From assisting with proposal formulation, regional data mining, and general business development, the ideal candidate will play a critical role in the overall success of the department.



Position Description:

1.0 Job Duties:
• Work directly with our Regional Customer Support Managers to facilitate business within their region.
o Participate in the proposal generation process
o Develop world class Regional business reviews
o Become familiar with CRM tool
o Build trust and confidence in the services provided by Safran HE USA
o Work with operations team to track and improve operations reporting with the Commercial Business
o Assist with the development of the company's Five-Year Plan

2.0 Position Detail:
Customer Support-
• Participate in the proposal development process to win new business
• Research, develop, and publish industry segment studies which can be used to drive actionable business development strategies
• Assist each region with day-to-day administrative aspects when needed
• Use CRM tools

Operations-
• Participate with Operations team to improve and implement reporting process and tools which drive Commercial Business efficiencies
• Prepare and participate in monthly reviews with Senior Leadership
• Ensuring completed contracts and amendments are filed within CRM and communicated to teams

4.0 Physical Requirements:
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Requirements:
US citizenship, a US. lawful permanent resident (green card holder)
• Education-
o Business major with a focus in Marketing
• Knowledge and Interest-
o Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Office
o Strong interest for a career in Aerospace
