Key Roles and Missions:
Accountable of the Customer Support and Services deliverables internal and external to the customer.
In Charge of customer support and service contract execution and performance.
Responsible for delivering elements that allow the user to maintain the product in operation (support publications, spare parts, local organization), for targeted total cost.
Direct all after-sales cross-functional activities for the program, to ensure that we meet customer expectations concerning customer support (technical, documentation, tools, logistics, sales policy, etc.) and Seats services (studies, leasing, MRO, etc.), in line with cost, quality and delivery objectives.
Responsibilities:
A) Manage the aftermarket in-service Programs to ensure customer satisfaction, adherence to program tollgate dates, and balanced workloads. Owner of assigned customer dashboards monthly presentation.
B) Develop and maintain relationships with the assigned customers, distributors, partners and other Safran companies in the area
C) Work closely with sales, engineering, supply chain, front office and other departments as necessary to ensure the delivered product fulfills the contracted and customer accepted definition while working to eliminate or adjust process issues that prevent successful delivery of customer program commitments.
D) Puts in place all necessary actions in order to ensure that the aftermarket budget and customer satisfaction are on target.
E) Defines and deploys with his / her team programme aftermarket strategies, from S1 to S12 within Prompt.
F) Align programs strategies across Safran Seats Customer Support and Services for the Chinese Market.
G) Contribute to answering to RFPs / RFIs / RFQs on the aftermarket side for the segment.
H) Manage consistent, timely and precise communications to the customers (both internal and external) on issues concerning all in service fleets and contracted customer programs.
I) Further develop aftermarket programs standards as part of continuous improvement.
J) Set and manage aftermarket part of program business plan. Drive and maintain budget, warranty, and customer satisfaction KPIs in line with company targets.
K) Ensure budgets are adhered too. This includes, but is not limited to: formal notification(s) and tracking of all requirements for active and “refresh” or “retrofit” programs as part of the aftermarket scope.
L) Develops strategies to ensure that business opportunities for revenue growth are communicated to the wider Safran Seats & Customer Support and Services teams to include sales forecasting and demand management. Identify the sales opportunities in the region to meet the set business forecasts & targets.
M) Be comfortable and familiar with (multi-cultural) international business practices which includes being sensitive to the various cultures and/or customs of a large international customer base that the company interfaces with daily.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
A) Knowledge and Skills:
i) Demonstrated effective and motivational leadership skills.
ii) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
iii) Knowledge of program management with internal and external relationships management.
iv) Have strong negotiating skills and be comfortable in an adversarial business environment during negotiations.
v) Have a very good working knowledge of the standard suite of office software products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, et. al.)
B) Education and/or Experience:
i) Requires a Master's degree (Management/Engineering/Aeronautics or MBA preferred) in a related business management or 6 years related experience in lieu of Master's level degree to meet the education requirement. Education in Aeronautical Universities preferred.
ii) In addition to meeting the education requirement, requires an additional 5 years' experience in a project or program team environment/exposure with 3 of those years managing programs.
iii) PMP certification is preferred.
C) Communication Skills:
i) Superior oral and written communication skills.
ii) Must be able to operate personal computer software/hardware used for communications.
iii) Ability to read, review and comprehend written communication.
iv) Speech and hearing abilities that allow the individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English and Chinese.
v) French is a plus.
D) Reasoning Ability:
i) Teamwork in an international environment with various nationalities.
ii) Ability to plan and think strategically.
iii) Ability to make timely decisions for programs based on best available information.
iv) Good business sense and judgment.
v) Open minded.
