The intern will work in Shenzhen office of Safran China in the Asia Supply Chain team and will contribute to the global Quality improvement of the Suppliers, which are mainly working with the Safran aircraft interior divisions. Due to the resuming and ramp-up of the airplane industry lately, Safran needs to strengthen its supply chain and improve its suppliers' maturity. The intern will need to lead 8D exercises with Suppliers and build action plans to keep non-conformity level at the expected target. She/He will also need to bring her/his technical expertise during contract review with the supplier before they launch their industrialization process. The intern will have the opportunity to use the Safran project management process and Quality tools, under the guidance of his/her Safran tutor.
Main activities:
1. Review internal customer non-conformity report, validate the supplier 8D or challenge their root cause analysis and action plan.
2. Lead drawings/technical reviews between US or EU Safran design office/Supplier's technician/supplier's production team. Identify / solve blocking items preventing smooth industrialization.
3. Lead risk assessment and using problem solving methods to make sure projects going smoothly.
4. Contribute to the FAI validation process.
5. Participate in supplier performance management's daily work to ensure good quality and delivery performance
Parlons de vous
- Graduate Level:
Last year internship, BAC+4 or above and major in Engineering/Mechanics/Industrial.
- Languages:
Fluent in English
- Skills and experience required:
Master MS office package, especially Excel and PPT
Familiar with engineering drawing/special process
Demonstrated analysis and communication skills
Good presentation skill, natural communicator
