Parlons de votre future mission

- Set up and operate a variety of conventional machine tools such as engine lathes and milling machines to repair or modify components and tooling
- Repair or machine tools needed for our repair facility
- Work alongside tool designers for custom jigs and fixtures used in our repair processes to support machine operations
- Work with our in house maintenance department for repairs and solutions to breakdowns
- Diagnose repairs and assist in steps to completing machining techniques to acquire conforming parts
- Day to day organization of upcoming jobs with our repair planners to provide on time deliveries
- Accurately complete all appropriate process documentation including product travelers, inspection plans/reports, critical dimension check sheets etc.
- Actively participate and promote continuous improvement of machining technique and processes

Parlons de vous

- Red Seal Machinist Certification/ Tool and Die (or equivalent experience)
- High level of personal integrity/ethics
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Minimum 10 years' experience working in a repair or manufacturing environment
- Must have a good understanding of blueprint reading and tolerancing using GD&T
- High level of accuracy in machining with the ability to hit tolerances up to +/- .0005
- Aerospace and CMM experience considered and asset
