Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Director, the Industrial Engineer will be responsible for managing Capital Equipment projects from conception till full production. This will involve liaising with Production, Maintenance, Facilities, Logistics and Manufacturing Engineering. Industrial Engineer also designs Plant Layout of Machine shop & Assembly in accordance to safety standard, Productivity improvement and ergonomic assessment. Analyzing production standard by conducting cycle time studies, Method study or Ergonomic study be done by the Industrial Engineer as needed basis. Conduct periodic cycle time studies for manufacturing inefficiencies or improvements. Determining material handling solutions based on the Method of work for assembly / Manual operation.

Managing Capital Equipment Justification:
• Leading meetings to collect the requirements of new Capital Investments.
• Co-ordinating with various function in preparing RFQ.
• Review Quotes and Raise CAPEX (Capital Equipment Justification).
• Co-ordinate all the necessary activities between the supplier and internal functions during the manufacture of new equipment.
• Manage the pre- acceptance, shipping of equipment and installation of equipment, Preliminary and Final acceptance.

• University Degree / College Diploma in Engineering
• Project Management skills and hands on experience.
• Knowledge and/or experience in Lean Manufacturing Techniques.
• Proven ability to create and execute project plans that have achieved the identified Milestones.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to produce succinct reports/presentations to communicate status of assigned projects/tasks
• A tenacious personality that will not let an issue be left unresolved.
• Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques.
• Expert in Auto CAD or other layout software.
• MS office and MS Project skills are required
