Description
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects, emphasis on G7500 Program
• Interact daily with internal and external customers (Program Management, Customer Services, Bombardier engineering, etc.).
• Monitor work performance/progress (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with Design Lead and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Design landing gear and associated systems using CATIA V5
• Work on special projects and design changes/improvements
• Responsible for ensuring the mods/design of the equipment meets the applicable specification requirements including FAR and JAR
• Create and update documents using Product Data Management (PDM) system
• Participate in Concurrent Engineering with various company functions including Stress, Dynamics, Systems, Quality, Product Support, Manufacturing, etc.
• Ensure that lessons learned are applied to any design mods
• Ensure that a common approach is followed using harmonized standards
• Evaluation and disposition of Non-Conformances against parts and assemblies
• Support in-service aircraft for production repair, in-service repair, investigations and associated Material Review Board activities

Parlons de vous

• Aerospace engineering degree preferred or Mechanical engineering
• Minimum 2 years experience in an aerospace engineering field
• Project management, ability to write reports, create & update spreadsheets, track status of projects
• Ability to work with multiple projects simultaneously
• Basic familiarity with aspects of landing gear; mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems and components
• Proven capability in the use of CATIA V5, solid modeling, kinematics and 2D layouts
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing to ASME Y.14.5M-1994
• Excellent English written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Detail and results oriented with a well-developed problem solving ability
• Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
