Bushing/Sealant Operator

• Prepare parts for sealant application as per process instructions
• Apply sealant as per Customer (Drawing) Requirements
• Verify parts meet process/drawing specifications before they are moved to the next operation
• Surface treatment of bushings including brush plating (Cadmium, Alodine, Cermatel, etc.)
• Other work related duties as required

• Ability to read blueprints (detailed components and assemblies) and understand process specifications.
• Familiar with the use of chemicals as pertaining to surface treatment including sealant application, brush cad, etc..
• Ability to identify non-conformances (visual inspection before and after applying sealant).
• Strong health and safety awareness (particularly relating to Hazardous materials).
• Ability to use hand and machine tools.
• Proven problem solving skills and experience/exposure to lean manufacturing.
• Self-motivated, able to set priorities and effectively organize work area.
• Able to work with little or no supervision.
• Proven ability to work well with others in a team environment.
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal a must.
• Aerospace experience an asset.
