To strengthen our Training Team, we are looking for an Instructor:
As an Instructor you are responsible for training Technical Performers (Jet Engine Mechanics or Inspectors). You provide methodological and technical training to Technical Performers in the execution of inspection, disassembly and reassembly tasks related to the maintenance and repair of an aircraft engine in accordance with work instructions. You are responsible for operational technical excellence, including the application of best practices, and assesses the skills of Technical Performers as part of their training.

Your profile:
• Hold a Bachelor diploma or equivalent through experience, with in-depth knowledge of good aviation practices and aircraft engine maintenance principles.
• Technical knowledge of MRO (Maintenance, Overhaul & Repair) for turbojet engines and problem-solving methods and techniques.
• Good educational skills.
• Organize your work according to the practical training schedule and set priorities according to unexpected quality events.
• Contribute to maintaining the quality system in full compliance with legal requirements and ensuring that quality discrepancies are resolved in accordance with the company's quality system.
• Independently assess and validate the skills of trainees, adapting the training program if necessary.
• Contribute to increasing SAESB's production capacity through a structured training plan, therefor suggest areas for improvement in training.
• Knowledge of common software (MS Office)
• Good command of English, able to communicate in French and Dutch is a plus.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Belgium, holding either an EU passport or a valid work & residence permit. Please note that we do not provide assistance with visa or permit applications.

Your role:
• Pass on knowledge, know-how and interpersonal skills to Technical Performers by helping them to carry out maintenance tasks correctly (inspection, dismantling and reassembly, etc.).
• Give practical training to operational staff on the various modules/parts/engines in application of the work instructions (SO).
• Ensure that work instructions and safety rules are applied and complied with.
• Provide "technical and best practice" expertise to all production staff to ensure product conformity and the smooth running of the company's processes.
• Work closely with team leaders, operational management and the HR training department to organize and coordinate the practical training plan for Technical Performers.
• Communicate critical problems to the operations department.
• Identify and formulate improvements to the training process.
• Assess and validate the skills of Technical Performers in relation to practical training in consultation with the team leader and manager.
