Position Description

Responsible for onsite oversight of services to include but not limited to, construction, installation, inspection, repair of ESCO's equipment. Provide training to customers (military/civilians) in the theory, operation, maintenance and overhaul of ESCO equipment. Provide direction and support while onsite to contractors and/or customer personnel as assigned. Position requires extensive and extended domestic and international travel.

Installation and Repairs
- Coordinate with the prime contractor on the development of detailed construction and installation schedules and scope of work regarding ESCO's equipment
- Provide technical assistance to contractors regarding drawings, construction, and installation/commissioning ESCO's equipment
- Ensure construction and installation activities of ESCO's equipment is done to company standards and procedures
- Visual and Functional inspections of ESCO equipment to ensure proper working condition
- Remove, repair/overhaul ESCO equipment as required

Other Duties
- Collection of data to construct and install ESCO equipment at customers location
- Provide Daily reports, field checkout sheets, customer feedback, and other information to internal team.
- Assist in developing/updating technical procedures, manuals and training material.
- Suggest and recommend product/service improvements, cost reductions and ways to improve customer service.
- Solely responsible for checking own work assignments. Errors must be evaluated, remedied and eliminated prior to placing equipment into service. Errors may result in life-threatening situations and critical to the company's reputation and liability position.

Exigences du poste

- 4 years' experience with Aircraft Arresting Gear (i.e. BAK12, BAK14, PIV (MAAS), MREs, Runway Edge Sheaves, etc.) or other similar machinery installation, testing and troubleshooting.
- Use of basic mechanical and electrical tools
- Basic computer skills and Microsoft Suite of programs
- Excellent spoken and written communication

- Must be able to set own daily schedule and priorities while onsite
- Must work well with others, promote teamwork, and direct others
- Must be able to communicate tactfully and respectfully with all personnel from other countries and levels of an organization
- Must be able to do extensive travel domestic and international, arrange own accommodations such as rental car and hotels.

Preferred Candidates
- Pervious travel experience
- Hands on construction
- Depot level repairs on Aircraft Arresting Gear
- Advanced skills with Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic systems
- Experience trainer/presenter
- Installed PIV, MRES multiple times
- Swapped out BAk12, deflector sheaves, Fairlead Beam for 10 year overhaul
- Placed system into Battery position
- Assisted/lead recovery after engagements
