In the role of Senior Purchasing & Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for leading the activities of a cross-functional team, composed of members from different functions to deliver overall supplier performance and ensure internal Programme and Operations customer satisfaction. This role leads the commodity strategy for the DC product line.

The role holder will be dedicated to leading and coordinating all supplier activities for the site of Twinsburg, New Product Integration and R&T. The role will also be identifying and mitigating risk in the supply base working on Strategic commodity roadmaps which are aligned to the engineering roadmaps. The voice of Purchasing at site level and will have a role in Site Senior Leadership Team. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for establishing the DC & RAT Commodity strategies. The role holder will ensure compliance to all key performance indicators within the realm of the function.

The Senior manager will have clear responsibility for the following functions, not limited to:

  • • Obsolescence, Conflict minerals, counterfeit prevention Management
  • • Proposals/Aftermarket & production (material costs)
  • • Commodity Strategy Development & Deployment
  • • Procurement
  • • New Product Integration/R&T team

Basic Qualifications:

  • • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • • A minimum of 5 years supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
  • • Must be experienced in project and supplier management, team leadership, strategic and tactical procurement/purchasing
  • • Experience working in a matrixed organisation.
  • • Experience managing complex commodities and suppliers in a build to print organization
  • • Experience of managing improved performance in underperforming suppliers.
  • • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
