Description de la mission

As a Project Engineer, you will have to:

  • - Support the Program Manager by providing programmatic and technical leadership in support of gas turbine engine development and certification activities for airborne applications.
  • - Coordinate and guide a multi-disciplinary team including Engineering, Quality, Contracts and Aftermarket.
  • - Assume ownership and responsibility for ensuring project tasks requirements are achieved.
  • - Develop and maintain effectively communication with internal and external customers and company leadership.
  • - Support the generation, maintenance and reporting of detailed program plans (milestones, budget, schedule, resource allocation, etc.)
  • - Possess and utilize effective problem solving and decision making skills.
  • - Actively participate in the development of Program Management tools and processes.
  • - Ensure high level of Customer satisfaction.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • - Provide leadership and coordination in support of any and all activities assigned by the Program Manager.
  • - Ensure all program requirements are achieved.
  • - Ensure superior level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and achievement of requirements.
  • - Develop and maintain schedule and budget plans.
  • - Facilitate and ensure effective coordination between all organizations/departments: Engineering, Quality, Contracts and Aftermarket.
  • - Build a strong relationship with customers, partners, suppliers and parent company personnel.

Votre profil

  • - 5 years' experience in Project Engineering / Program for Aerospace
  • - BS or MS in Mechanical, Structural or Aerospace Engineering or similar
  • - International relationship
  • - Program / Customer focus
  • - Demonstrated effective leadership of multi-disciplinary teams
  • - Familiarity with airworthiness rules and aviation standards is a plus
  • - Familiarity with the operation of aircraft Auxiliary Power Units and related systems is a plus
  • - Basic knowledge of most engineering and aftermarket disciplines as related to gas turbine engines and aircraft
  • - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • - Demonstrated ability to make good decisions related to overall program requirements
  • - Creative, enthusiastic and innovative problem solver
  • - Ability to succeed under pressure and work with a sense of urgency
