Primary Activities
- • To build the performance improvement plan:
2) identify and measure the opportunities of competitiveness improvement
3) identify the action leverages, risks and management issues of the associated change
4) prepare projects launch and make sure of their compliance with the corporate strategic objectives
5) support the operational management in the preparation and execution of their specific progress plans
- • To cascade the objectives and coordinate the actions from the higher level entity including the ones set by Safran:
2) analyze the potential synergies and make it easier for the projects launch transverse to the entity
3) support the pilots and the projects coordinators of the organization
- • To drive the improvement and transformation plan of the entity:
2) evaluate the evolution of the economic and operational performance executed in keeping with the established rules
3) adapt and guide the projects portfolio of the progress plan to do according to the results obtained
4) create the overview and the associated report, prepare and do the progress reviews with the corresponding entity manager
5) guarantee the respect of the rules applied for the project management
- • To implement the methods, tools and states of mind to drive the performance improvement:
2) lead and drive the progress and performance improvement network of the entity
3) deploy and maintain the level of control in terms of methods and tools: participative innovation, Lean Sigma, One Safran, etc.
4) drive the progress human resources management of the entity, built the human resources training plan, and have it complete
- • Perform continuous benchmarking

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Site General Manager and the Division Performance Improvement Director, the Manager's objectives and missions are:
- • Create the conditions for a sustainable performance improvement and insure its effective implementation
- • Concerning the involved entity, the Manager is responsible for:
a. economic and operational performance in all its aspects
b. identify and consider all the non-performance drivers
2) insuring the appropriate management of the improvement and/or transformation projects
3) creating improvement conditions
4) using both Safran leverage and scale effects
The role is responsible for energizing the site using Lean Sigma and One Safran tools/methodology to positively impact Customer Satisfaction, Delivery & Quality performance, Ebit&Cash. Working closely with leadership at all levels to ensure CI efforts are driven throughout the organization through sharing of best practices.
Votre profil
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business/Operations
Experience:
- • 10+ years of experience in the following areas: Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain; Customer Services; Production; Quality; Engineering; Information Technology; Logistics or Planning.
- • Knowledge of the group, its management system, processes and organizations
- • Knowledge of an industrial entity processes and operations
- • Knowledge of the leverage of change management in complex organizations
- • Knowledge of the basics in terms of techno-economic management and performance management
Computer Skills:
- • Proficiency in the use of common software packages including MS Office suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint
- • Leadership, capacity to involve and confederate
- • Capacity to drive and manage networks
- • Capacity to operate in a pluri-disciplinary, inter-cultural and international environment
- • Long term vision and capacity to promote breakthrough actions
- • Capacity to understand business issues
- • Capacity to understand leverages of performance improvement
- • Capacity to do benchmarking
- • Practical experiences of Safran tools and methods including Lean Sigma and the management of complex projects
- • Being familiar with the organization practices of a progress plan
- • Qualities in interpersonal relationship and in kindly challenging the organizations
Additional Preferred Skills: (not required)
- • Master Black Belt or Black Belt certification from Safran
