Safran's Debt: Standard & Poor's credit rating, BBB+, a positive outlook

Long-term credit rating

Standard & Poor's revised Safran’s credit rating in April 2022: its long-term investment grade rating of BBB+ is maintained and the outlook is revised to positive.

This rating reflects the strength of Safran's balance sheet, as well as the Group's ability to adapt quickly to an unprecedented crisis. In the context of a recovery with strong volatility and global tensions, Safran's sound financial policy and leading position in its markets have earned it an investment grade rating with a positive outlook.

Safran Net Debt on 31 December 2020
2,792 million

compared with €4,114 million on 31 December 2019. This decrease is based on free cash flow generation and the absence of dividend payments in 2020 for the 2019 financial year.
