Continuous Improvement Internship/Apprentice

Internship Responsibilities

a) IT interns must support the IT team in the maintenance of hardware, software and other systems.
b) They must troubleshoot issues with equipment like printers, computers and servers.
c) They run software updates backups when requested.
d) IT interns may participate in the development/deployment of new IT related Projects
e) To provide training and documentation for IT related projects
f) Research and propose technology solutions for IT related requirements
g) Any other duties assigned by IT Department

Internship Requirements and/or Preferred Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in computer science, information technology, mathematics, or related degree
• Understanding and familiarity with several coding languages such as Java, Java Script, jQuery, C#, etc.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Knowledge and fundamentals of software development, design, tuning, testing, and debugging
• Critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Work under minimal supervision and adapt to a dynamic, changing environment.

• Must be a creative and innovative thinker

• Basic PC skills required including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
