Your role would be to maintain, protect and grow our business with existing customers via regular visits, meetings and other contacts.
Accurate and up to date knowledge all of the key projects, plans, developments and strategies of each customer.
Ensure our share and value of business are maximised. Propose actions to create value for customers and the company

To establish and develop a long term relationship with the customers enabling us to maintain a highly effective partnership with them ensuring we keep ahead of the competition.
Know and manage the key players and decision makers, building strong relationships with each of them.
Proactively manage business and contractual relations with customers.
Understand the competitive positioning of products and services
Closely work with and support customer service team to ensure efficient and premium services and communications to customers.
Ensure customer requirement and value are properly understood internally and look to ensure customer loyalty.

To identify, target and gain new business, target accounts and/or opportunities. Lobby customers and prospects
Establish plan to gain this business
Gain internal support and/or resource, as required to gain new business.

To maintain effective reporting and records by recording all sales visits, new contracts & new opportunities through the regular submission of sales visit reports, according to company procedures and rules.
Provide data to the company regarding customer and industry segmentation, trends and market intelligence.
Provide a monthly rolling forecast, quotation follow up, sales report and activity plan update
Provide an annual sales forecast/budget for the respective sales territory.
Report regularly on competitor activity.

To assist in the preparation of customer proposals & quotations, as appropriate
Submit request for proposals to the Company, according to actual validation rules and company procedures
Follow up: ensure proposal is prepared and submitted on time
Follow up with customer to gain business

You will need to support projects and activities.
Understand and use the strategies of the company and agree plan/projects with management.
Maintain regular contact & report back on progress.

You will be play an active role as a member of the European Sales Team, playing an active role in the Sales Meetings.
Share knowledge, customer information, etc...
Conduct or contribute to marketing efforts (trade fairs and exhibitions, communications, etc.)
Communicate to all functions within SEC UK key actions and information relating to both the assigned territorial business as well as any SEC UK sensitive issues.

Descripción complementaria

Good communication and team work skills. Able to build strong relationships and interface with customers. Results and services to customers oriented Business developer mindset. Well organised and able to work within deadlines and budgets.

Ability to speak fluent French and German would be advantageous.

Requisitos del puesto de trabajo

Minimum 5 years experience in a sales or technical-sales/support function, in a major company, preferably on electrical / electromechanical products.
Proven knowledge and contacts within EV, railways, industrial and/or defense markets would be beneficial.
Strong IT and analytical skills.

Especificidad del puesto de trabajo

UK and Europe. Travel to USA and Asia may be required.
