Hydraulic Inspector & Fitter

Intricate aerospace components and structures, inspected and assembled by you.

As a part of our Production team working for our MRO site (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul), this Inspector & Fitter role is a key part of our Hydraulics team. You'll work with the latest equipment and gain valuable experience in aircraft production. You'll have opportunities to learn and progress, with investment being made on site it's an exciting time to join our growing local team.

What will I be doing?

- Test, repair & overhaul of components & systems
- Disassembly and subsequent inspection of units to return to serviceability
- Performing minor rework such as hand salvage, blending damaged material, polishing may, as well as assessing parts/components for repair
- Assemble & test hydraulic units to CMM & drawing maintenance data

The working hours for this role are as follows;
6.40am - 3.15pm Monday to Thursday
6.40am - 11.50am Friday

Salary is £35,133 progressing to £37,231 upon completion of first training stamp obtained.

What do I need to succeed in this role?

- Apprentice trained or equivalent qualifications
- Ability to use precision measuring and test equipment
- Experience in working with Inspection & Fitting on Aircraft Components
