IT Run, Network and Security

The Network & Security Run Specialist has for roles to advice, assist, inform, train and alert. He/She can manage directly all or a part of a project which is on his/her expertise domain (network and security) on the SEP perimeter.
The Network & Security Run Specialist do the technology watch, is involved on the architecture evolution and on the technical qualification of platforms or components.

 Responsible for the optimal functioning of network and security components
 Implements the tools guaranteeing the coherence of the infrastructures;
 Manages and maintains the technical infrastructures, (routers, hubs, concentrators, cabling, etc.) for servers and mainframes;
 Follows the evolution of the equipment;
 Operate and manage the network on his/her perimeter
 Checks the conformity of the equipment with the standards.
 Manages operations on network or security for all incidents;
 Deals with all incidents on computer or telephone networks;
 Monitors resources (switches, network devices, servers, connected workstations, etc.).
 Documents, promotes and monitors their application;
 Incident management on this perimeter at level 3 for decision-making on actions to be prioritized, participation in crisis units;
 Provides support to operating teams on all incidents (prioritization of actions and participation in crisis units);
 Will be the single point of entry for functional areas, for all standard change requests (or cataloged) by ITS. He will manage the requests made to the outsourcer or those made internally.
 Is both the entry point for the functional areas, and the exit point for the outsourcer to address monitoring, communications, and relations with IT requesters. He / she is the link between requesters and operations.
