The Safran Nacelles Services Americas facility is located in Plainfield, Indiana, and bringing the company's expertise in maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) for its jet engine nacelles that are operational across North and South America. The 57,000-square-ft. MRO shop provides high quality, cost effective and reliable maintenance solutions matched to customers' needs, having started with Safran manufactured nacelles for regional aircraft and business jets – and now expanding to nacelles for single-aisle and wide body airliners. Its area of responsibility covers the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central and South America. In addition to metallic repairs, Safran Nacelles Services Americas is specialized in composites work – which is particularly important with the increasing amount of composite materials utilized in jet engine nacelles.

Position Summary: Responsible to repair and overhaul aircraft nacelles components and to ensure the airworthiness using FAA technical data relevant to the assigned tasks at the Safran Nacelles Services Americas LLC MRO facility.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform all work assigned in accordance with approved FAA data.
• Structural Repair & Composite repair experience is a requirement.
• Ensure complete and proper documentation of work performed.
• Ensure that all maintenance performed and is in an air-worthy condition.
• Maintains the premises and the repair station in a clean and organized manner.
• Performs additional duties as requested by the manager personnel.

Education, Knowledge and Skills:
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License is required
• Experience of communication skills, report writing and presentation skills
• English communication in both speech and written format

Support On-Wing Repair (OSI) travel for both Domestic and International Assignments
