With a focus on excellence and a passion for driving growth, we are seeking a talented and motivated Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a Business Development Specialist reporting to the Manager of Commercial Business Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding our presence in the aviation sector. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a background in business development, a strong understanding of the aerospace industry, and a proven track record of successfully cultivating relationships.

• Key Accountabilities
o Market Research and Analysis
• Conduct thorough market & industry research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential risks
• Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to develop informed business strategies
o Client Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Collaborate with existing clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
o Sales Strategy
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
• Manage business development pipeline and opportunities in support of Regional Key Account Manager(s)
o Proposal Development & Contract Negotiation
• Prepare compelling and customized proposals, presentations, and pitches for existing and potential customers to secure mutually beneficial agreements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure proposals align with the company's capabilities and customer needs
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation
o Key Networking and Industry Engagement
• Act as representative for SafranHE at industry events and conferences
• Actively participate in industry forums and associations to enhance our visibility and network

2.0 Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
•Understanding of aviation regulations, market dynamics, and industry trends
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
•Advanced - Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI preferred, SAP
•Knowledge of customer service
•Knowledge of managing a budget and/or forecasting
•Strong presentation skills
