OTD Controller's main mission is to satisfy our customers by closing the gap between their requested date of Spares delivery and CSS Gainesville promised ship dates. Works under general supervision.

Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

Main Function Responsibilities

A) Manage their dedicated Spares order book according to date requested by customers
B) Manage their commodities for the customers assigned
C) Challenge supply chain and manufacturing operations to close the gaps that may exist
D) Secure delivery times of parts by the supply chain and manufacturing operations in order to meet deadlines requested by customers (CRD)
E) Coordinate and prioritize between front office and suppliers (Supply Chain and internal production)
F) Provide regular reporting of the order book to internal customers (Front Office, PM, Sales, etc.)
G) Set up and monitor KPI's to track the health of the order book
H) Promptly respond to information requests and improvement recommendations
I) Participate in follow up meetings for production and supply chain workshops (QRQC)
J) Prioritize Lines if necessary in consultation with necessary stakeholders
K) Collect and analyze the root causes of delays: initiate and follow the action plan necessary for removing roadblocks with the appropriate support services (Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, etc.)
L) Identify and implement lead time reduction actions
M) Participate in the development of retrofit offers scheduling
N) Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands
• This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment. Finger dexterity needed in using misc. office equipment such as telephone, computer and copy machine, etc. Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to approximately twenty pounds are required during tasks related to the job

Work environment
• The work environment includes office setting with moderate office noise

3. Qualification Requirements

A. Education & Qualification:
• Associate Degree in Business or related field is required; or three (3) years of experience supporting sales, marketing or customer relations. Bachelor Degree in Business or related field is preferred.

B. Work Experience - Technical knowledge:
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience. Prefer experience within the Safran Seats USA organization.
• Experience in a customer related area or proven ability to work well with customers required.
• Should have a variety of experience in Manufacturing, Purchasing, Planning and understands the terminology and operating methods.

C. Professional Skills:
• Must be proficient in the operation of office computers.
• Must have advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office software products (standard suite of office software products: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, et. al.).
• Provides and communicates relevant information in a timely manner and provides reports on activities.
• Utilizes continuous improvement in analyzing actions, problems and creating or suggesting solutions.
• Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
• Ability to read and review written communication.
• Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.

D. Behavioral Skills:
• Must have ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be able to interface with all departments within the company, as well as multi-cultural outside customers.
• Provides and communicates relevant information in a timely manner and provides reports on activities.
