In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in, ensuring all materials are defined, procured, and available through the production and prototype supply chain resources to support milestone dates for Customer Show Seats, PDR, CDR and DEV testing projects. You will also have the authority and the right to control, command (position) activities and ensure compliance to the applicable defined company (department or job) policies, processes, practices and defined objectives. 1. Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
Main Function Responsibilities
A) Ensure all tooling, raw material & parts are defined, procured, and available to support program schedules for Customer Show Seats, PDR, CDR and DEV testing projects.
B) Obtains materials and services at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability and urgency of need.
C) Monitor and communicate shortages to ensure parts are in process to support the build of Customer Show Seats, PDR, CDR and DEV testing projects.
D) Drive program status to meet toll gates for each phase of new product launch to protect customer date and escalate to impacted functional disciplines if dates compress or violate the program schedule.
E) Drives the timely releases and rescheduling of manufacturing and release of purchase orders (MO & POs) to support Customer Show Seats, PDR, CDR and DEV testing projects.
F) Works with design, planning, manufacturing, purchasing and suppliers to resolve materials constraints and identify work arounds to support program schedule.
G) Coordinates the flow of material and paperwork between Safran Seats USA and satellite factories in the United States and foreign countries. Must be able to work with counterparts at these facilities to ensure a smooth flow and maintain schedules.
H) Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements
A. Education & Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree preferred. Requires an Associate's degree or 3 years related experience in lieu of Associate's level degree to meet the education requirement.
B. Work Experience - Technical knowledge:
• In addition to meeting the education requirement, prefer planning or buying related experience.
C. Professional Skills:
• Must have working knowledge of MRP and ERP systems that could include, SAP, Oracle, Infor, MAPICS. Additional experience with Thru-put, MS Outlook and XA Power Link are a plus.
• Must have average working knowledge of Microsoft Products to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Must have a good understanding of manufacturing and materials processes.
• Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
• Ability to read and review written communication.
• Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
D. Behavioral Skills:
• Must be able to communicate and interact successfully with all levels of Engineering, Tooling, Purchasing, Suppliers and Manufacturing departments.
E. Desirable Aspects:
• Smart Teams, Excel, Drawing interpretation
• CATIA, MRP Systems. Powerlink, Outlook
General Work Conditions
Physical Demands: This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment. Finger dexterity needed in using misc. office equipment such as telephone, computer and copy machine, etc. Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to approximately twenty pounds are required during tasks related to the job.
Work environment: The work environment includes office setting with moderate office noise.
