Summary

Maintains company book of accounts by preparing, collecting, and analyzing accounting data to communicate financial information to company organizations and external customers.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 Analyzes and interprets financial data for the purpose of developing appropriate accounting and financial policies;
 Provides financial guidance and recommendations to management, customers, and employees;
 Identifies and resolves complex financial issues;
 Coordinates and reviews basic accounting functions;
 Oversees billing, accounts payable, customers, and payroll;
 Performs balance sheet account reconciliation;
 Develops and applies internal controls to achieve accurate and efficient accounting systems;
 Assist with audits and special projects;
 Ensures compliance with government laws and regulations, policies, and professional standards;
 Develops and implements new accounting methods and processes, as well as improvements to automated accounting systems;
 Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture;
 Regular, predictable attendance is required;
 Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience
 Requires a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Accounting or Finance and 5-8 years of experience in accounting.
Knowledge/Skills
 Ability to work with other team members to achieve desired results - Expert
 Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access) - Expert
 Must possess the ability to run and analyze Accounting reports and data - Expert
 Knowledge of ERP system required - Advanced
 Organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines – Expert
 Ability to coordinate and direct work activities across finance functions - Advanced
