Safran has significant expertise, products and market penetration within the areas of Portable and Land Vehicle Optronics, Direct Fires Optronic solutions, land based ISR Solutions, Position Navigation and Timing, Navigation Warfare, Integrated Solider Systems, Tactical Airborne Systems, Parachutes and Beacons.
Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing , the Account Manager – Land Systems is responsible for Strategy, Business Development and Capture, Proposal Development and Negotiations primary focussed on land domain customers in Australia and New Zealand. In addition, you will lead the refinement of the sales strategy into the land domain including the development on new Australian products, new pursuits, on contract growth of existing clients and expanding the MRO/service offering into the land domain.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Sales of Safran E&D (commercial and military) equipment, systems and services,
Implementation of SEDA business strategy
Maintain relationships with existing and new clients,
Build and maintain an accurate market picture (TAM/SAM/SOM)
Lead capture and proposal activities
Refine and develop the land sales strategy
Contract negotiation and bid preparation
Develop business and capture plans
Establish market surveys and benchmark SEDA products and services
Organisation of local seminars, exhibitions and conferences
Editorial white papers, conference speaker
Definition of mid-term and long term business development plan
Collaborative agreement on yearly sales objectives
Work with the engineering teams to develop new product roadmaps for land domain customers, which will include setting up new R&D programs with Australia Academia.
Development of capability requirements for new Sovereign products to be developed in Australia.
Requisitos del puesto de trabajo
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
Tertiary level business, engineering disciplince preferred,
Experience within Defence, CASG and/or Defence Industry, including business development experience with a track record of success
Demonstrated understanding and network within Australian Army stakeholder landscape
Demonstrated experience in proposal development
Australian Citizen with current or ability to gain AGSVA Security Clearance
