The Soliman site has an area of 17,000 m2, and hosts the activities of Safran Aerosystems. Local teams assemble electrical power centers and also design harnesses, windshield wiper motors, oxygen masks and fuel tanks.

Safran Seats has been established at Soliman since 2005, and also at another location just 5 km away. The 12,000 m2 site is specialized in the production of sub-assemblies for economy-class seats, cloth cutting, and the manufacturing and assembly of frames for aircraft seats.

The Group reaffirmed its presence in the region in 2014 when it opened a third site at Grombalia, now operated by Safran Cabin. The plant manufactures galleys for the Airbus A320. It also designs luggage compartments for the Airbus A330neo.
