Aubert & Duval A specialist in upscale metallurgy

Since its beginnings in 1907, Aubert & Duval has contributed to the projects of the most demanding industries. Today, the company is a world leader in designing, developing and industrialising high-performance steel, superalloy, aluminum or titanium parts.

Our expertise

Aubert & Duval designs, processes, produces and sells sophisticated metallurgical solutions for the most demanding industries’ projects. Aubert & Duval is active in melting and hot conversion by forging, close-die forging and rolling of special steels (including stainless steel), superalloys, titanium and aluminum alloys.

Powders for additive manufacturing

Aubert & Duval is a recognized supplier of metal powders for additive manufacturing, serving demanding markets such as aerospace, energy, medical, defense and automotive.
Thanks to its strong metallurgical and powder atomization expertise, Aubert & Duval develops new grades and optimizes powder performance to obtain the best possible material / process pairs for its customers.

Integrated Solution for Titanium

With its fully integrated solution for titanium, Aubert & Duval is a leading global supplier and manufacturer of aviation-grade titanium and titanium alloy products. From melting to finished parts, Aubert & Duval produces high strength titanium alloy products in billets,

Our business starts with the design of materials and grades that can meet our customers’ demands. Thanks to the globally recognized know-how of our metallurgists, production processes are then developed, modelled and optimized to ensure their reliability and repeatability, while guaranteeing our customers optimum competitiveness.

Melting and processing

To give materials the right characteristics for our customers’ applications, the industrial phase is based on a strict, atmospheric or vacuum production process followed by remelting to obtain special steels, alloys and superalloys. The metal is then processed by atomizing, rolling, forging or closed die-forging.

With an innovation policy focused on the development of your products, our Research & Development department and the support of a network of global experts, Aubert & Duval is able to design full metallurgical solutions and create new alloys and parts that meet our customer’s projects’ specific needs. Our laboratories and experts have also developed real expertise in modelling to make development cycles shorter and more reliable.
