Based on education

Safran is firmly convinced of the importance of education in shaping individuals, as well as its role as a vector of integration and equal opportunity. We have therefore decided to support educational, social and cultural initiatives, such as the fight against illiteracy and school dropouts, social skills, education via sports and music, etc.

Safran provides financial support to both public and private partners, independent of its commercial interests.

The Safran Foundation for Integration

The Safran Foundation for Integration was founded to fight against all forms of exclusion. For instance, it conducts actions designed to facilitate the social and professional integration of young adults with motor, sensorial, mental or social disabilities. The Foundation supports long-term projects initiated by associations.

As part of operations carried out with help from Safran employees, the Foundation supports staff who commit to these actions, such as those carried out by the association Frateli.

The Safran Foundation for Music

The Safran Foundation for Music aims to support young musicians, either during training or as they start their careers. It also supports the venues (concert halls, festivals) that host these young artists. Since being created, the Foundation has directly supported more than 120 "Young Talents", along with partnerships that support about a hundred different structures that help promote their careers.

In partnership with the Museum of Army, the Foundation organizes musical events in the "Invalides" in Paris, like the annual cycle of "Jeunes Talents" (Young Talents) concerts, or the Safran Foundation Award for Music. This annual award goes to the winner of an interpretation competition. In 2018, it went to the clarinetist Joë Christophe.
