BSS Turbo - Quality Manager in Beijing

The job context is related to work with suppliers, contract, design engineering, operation and supply chain for the selection of qualified suppliers and improvement of supplier performance.
The following missions for the job will be:
- To develop, implement, communicate and maintain quality plan to bring the company's quality systems and policies into compliance with quality system requirements
- To take full charge of all quality issues in the operation
- To implement strategies for quality function including quality system establishment and maintenance, process improvement etc.
- To be responsible for quality certification related work
- To keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issues and news with respect to quality requirement
- To monitor and inform quality standards created by external bodies and integrate within internal quality management systems
- To report to top management on the performance of QMS
- To organize the internal/external audit of QMS
- To oversee inspection/examination of incoming materials, ensuring that they meet requirements
- To ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, vendor quality systems
- To plan and implement appropriate monitoring actions at suppliers (systems, products and processes, industrialization and phase series)
- To ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions at supplier plant and internally
- To provide evidence to flow down non-quality costs to suppliers
- To measure and communicate supplier quality performance level to top management
- To promote with suppliers the metrics and quality assessments implementation
- To participate in selection of suppliers
- To present the quality assessment report of selected suppliers in technical committee
- To participate in product industrialization

- A dynamic personality style with the ability and willingness to promote appropriate change and improvement and fully autonomous in performing his/her duties,
- Experienced with aerospace manufacturing equipment,
- Solid understanding of receiving inspection processes including statistical sampling, component measurement techniques, specifications and drawings,
- Excellent problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills required with thorough working knowledge of Quality systems methods and practices (DOE, PFMEA, Control Plans, Lean Manufacturing concepts, DMAIC, Root Cause Analysis, etc.),
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently,
- Proficient in spreadsheet (report formatting, graphing, formula calculation generation), database, presentation and project management tools (i.e., Excel, Minitab, etc.),
- Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, schematics, block diagrams and Engineering Change Notices for the purpose of specific inspection criteria and evaluation,
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment,
- Proficient with a personal computer and selected software applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel, Access, PowerPoint,
- 1 to 3 years of experience as Quality Engineer will be a plus,
- Creativity and open mind mandatory,
- Strong sense of responsibility, high initiative, mature and reliable,
- English language high level required; French skills appreciated
