BSS Turbo - Internship Crack Propagation in Beijing

The main tasks of this internship include:
- Performing the crack propagation simulation methodology research and simulation, including material data setting, boundary condition and result processing, by using NX and Nasgro;
- Performing the literature researching on the crack propagation simulation of
Turbomachinery and crack propagation test in order to clarify the fundamentals of
the crack propagation through the basic knowledge of Fracture Mechanics, for
instance the sensitivity analysis of key parameters;
- Collecting crack propagation analysis data for power turbine, including critical
location, crack model, crack growth model, etc.;

- Basic knowledge of material mechanic, solid mechanic and Fracture mechanics
- FEM tools including at least 1 of Patran, Nastran, Abaqus, Samcef and Ansys
- Basic knowledge in turbomachinery
- Good communication skills in English
