CNC Grinder Machinist

To set and operate a CNC Grinding Machine (Studer S31 with Fanuc control) and various manual grinding, programming, Honing, lapping equipment and manual grinding.

Using standardised processes, programs, established tooling and fixtures, set CNC Studer machine and operate to produce high tolerance parts in a variety of materials. Coupled with the traditional machines such as manual grinding, lapping and honing, be capable of and willing to perform standard bench operations such as de-burring, part marking, cleaning and pressure washing.

Produce parts to the required drawing and specification utilising set up reductions, maximising output, and prioritising workload. Contributing to 5S, TPM and carrying out ‘in process' inspection as required. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.CNC trained.
