工作描述

Responsible for the coordination and reporting of all inventory activities to enable the achievement of reliable targets in order to optimize inventory levels and costs.

Reports To
The Senior Operations Managers of the Safran Nacelles Savannah site.

Main activities
• Coordinate all of the shipping, receiving activities for our facility. Manage all physical flows (incoming/internal and outgoing) from reception of components and raw materials to shipping of finished goods to customers (from the local site, company, etc.)
• Provides the escalation point between manufacturing and stores/suppliers who deliver direct to the point of use
• Provides support the manufacturing units needs defined in the ERP system and in line with the defined inventory rules
• Organize the activity and inventory storage for point of use components for the manufacturing unit in terms of planning, implementation, analysis and reporting of results
• Ensures controls are in place to ensure the proper execution of inventory discrepancies, physical and system movements and waste management rules
• Notifies the internal/external schedulers when discrepancies of inventory have been identified
• In cases of incident during manufacture, follows the defined process to replace the defective parts moved into a quarantine location and generates the appropriate expression of the need to replenish the line
• Monitors the staging area and generates the appropriate requisition, re-order, re-work order or repair order
• Coordinates quarantine routines for all the items in quarantine locations and ensures a timely turnaround of parts/units in these areas
• Participates in and facilitates meetings for the treatment of non-compliant parts in quarantine and follows the progress of actions (Returns)
• Supports, measures and analyzes inventory performance in coordination with the internal/external scheduler using the defined metrics
• Supports the analysis of the root cause of metrics not at the target level and work with the manufacturing unit to help develop the necessary improvement and corrective action plans
• Assists with the definition of the process for the collection and archiving of routing cards including organizing off site storage if applicable
• Contributes to the dispatch or receipting process for the provision of subcontracting, where applicable
• Supports, measures and analyzes performance in coordination with the manufacturing unit using the defined metrics and provides the required weekly/monthly

o Projects (internal & external) for the improvement of logistics flow and storage
o Workshops to determine packaging and work specifications for new product introductions and significant changes to the Manufacturing unit (i.e. rate increase/decrease, transfers, etc…)
o Managing obsolescence
o Stock takes, audits and assessments
o Rate readiness & resource investment studies
o Improvement projects to improve delivery performance
o Administration of supplier transport, documentation and requests
o Maintaining the logistics guidelines

工作要求

Desired Work Experience
• Familiar with an industrial site's organization
• Detailed vision of the production processes and typical company's supply chain organization
• Knowledge of Safe Storage and Handling procedures for various chemicals and materials
• Safety Culture mind oriented
• Proficiency in the MRP2 processes
• Knowledge of business economics
• Have experience of inventory management and practices
• Understand the basic rules of customs and international transportation
• APICS BSCM or working towards

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of directly related experience
• Familiar with the information systems used in the Supply Chain: i.e. ERP, Supplier Portal
• Experience on SAP appreciated
• Familiar with desktop tools
• Capacity to analyze a complex problem, sum it up and find solutions
• Communication skills
