工作描述

Manage forecast and usage based inventory level to ensure maximum service rate to the different customers (i.e. kitting, order completion, new production, front office) while meeting inventory level goals.
Help develop and maintain ERP accuracy. Lead projects and assist Material Manager in improving the processes related to the function of the material and procurement departments
Review stock target for new and repaired parts after gathering information from our ERP (past usage), forecast from front office, new technical changes from engineering and special engine/customer program(s). Build and maintain databases with crucial information required to maintain optimal stock level. Organize and communicate results of usage arbitration to the corporate office.

Maintain system accuracy for new and used material
- Manage items master data in SAP
- Maintain purchase orders accuracy
- Monitor date delivery from suppliers to ensure that they are accurate
- Monitor storage location accuracy
- Ensure new parts are properly setup in SAP

Maintain a healthy inventory
- Review inventory, slow moving or excess parts. Prepare action plan to optimize inventory and follow through to achieve annual inventory goals.
- Manage part number at inception and obsolescence to avoid scrapping unnecessary parts during engineering changes.
- Review and maintain target of stock for unserviceable parts in conjunction with the MRP controllers.
Coordinate annual buybacks with corporate for new, repaired and unserviceable material
Maintain and update the repair parts forecast in SAP
Create metrics to manage inventory and control its value, monitor subcontractor performances (internal repair shop, external vendor), monitor critical parts, and to keep our virtual WIP accurate.
Act as the support for procurement activities by assisting in solving the more complex issues (Y4, Y1) and analyze supplier data to ensure it is compliant with our expectations.
Analyze vendor performance and create action plan to improve performance when needed
Have a strong understanding of MRP and procurement processes to strengthen weak points by working with team members and other departments.

Maintain inventory to meet operational target.
Contribute to achieve 95% service rate for spare parts and S/E and 98% for AOG. Ensure strong action plan and gap analysis is in place and is driven in collaboration with all process stakeholders (OPS, Kitting, Front office …).
Has authority to act at his own discretion, with short-term review or audit by the Material Manager.

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and a minimum of five years of related hands-on experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in planning Management, MRP, DRP or product specific forecasting in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge in planning and forecasting systems (MRP/DRP/ERP/CRM) and experience in implementing such system.
Proficient in MS Excel.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Kanban and other visual Pull Systems, and workflow processes. Demonstrated success in leading a Lean organization utilizing High Performance teams and continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of professional practices, sources of information, and rules and regulations that must be interpreted, adapted and applied to the unique requirements of the organization and process.
Well organized with strong analytical abilities. Attention to detail. Self-motivated. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively on a cross-functional team. Excellent project management skills.
This position regularly communicates with the corporate office, as well as front office.
Prior experience in Aviation Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Operations is required.
Knowledge of French culture and French is appreciated.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit occasionally required to stand and walk.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
Travel required 5 percent, including internationally
