As part of the CFM team, will support the CFM customer team manage business activities (opportunity identification, offers and sales) related to thrust products for CFM engine Fleet.
Lead activities for CFM Contracts team related to thrust products sales and orders, as follows:
Create and enforce CFM Thrust Policy and associated processes
o Develop and implement (with CFM Business Operations) commercial policy / processes related to thrust products.
o Define and administer contractual terms/processes applicable to thrust usage and aftermarket thrust products. Develop associated Operating Practices.
o Create work instructions and governance for pre-delivery thrust deals with airframers. Ensure integrity of contractually authorized thrust data for all CFM assets, and create standard operating procedures for data input into systems and continual updates of data.
o Drive process for validation of actual thrust operated in the fleet vs contractually authorized.
• Collaborate with Business Operations and Customer teams to define yearly sales goals, and develop opportunity pipeline, and to identify new data-driven business opportunities.
o Work with customer or sales teams to create offers (pricing and associated contracts).
o Drive accountability and closure of opportunity scorecard, by influencing behaviors of other teams to manage their role.
o Manage reporting to stakeholders, in particular opportunity identification, sales activities and success rate.
o Lead the establishment and improvement of any processes related to Thrust Upgrades and associated digital tools (with IT leader).
o Organize and lead various spare engine-related meetings.
Manage all aspects of Thrust upgrade orders and deliveries
o Process and manage all incoming purchase orders and related financial transactions.
o With the customer teams, proactively guide customers through the thrust upgrade ordering and delivery process.
o Track and report customer contract fulfillment and report to other stakeholders.
Implement airline customer contracts:
o Manage and administer certain terms and conditions of the airline customer contract.
o Summarize and communicate customer contract requirements.
o Track any financial transactions in digital tools.
o Manage thrust utilization programs and monitor thrust loans/leases
o Track and manage any thrust activities with Airframers.
o Invoice and close with CFM Finance
Support sales and legal teams, as required, during proposal and contract negotiations with airline customers
o Review contract language, both in form and substance.
o Develop internal positions in response to airlines requests.
Bachelor's degree in business-related field
5-10 years relevant work experience, preferably in an aerospace-related field
Experience with management of commercial contracts, preferably in an aerospace-related field
Experience in project management
Experience in customer relationship management
Demonstrated skills in oral and written communication
Experience or strong desire to work with teams and customers from different countries and cultures
Must have strong project management skills. Change management skills a plus.
Must have good negotiation skills and the capacity to influence others.
Must have ability to work in an international environment and possess good customer interaction skills.
Must have strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple topics concurrently in fast-paced environment.
Must understand basic contract language. The ability to draft basic commercial contract language is a plus.
Must be able to communicate effectively with all organizational levels, in particular through appropriate reporting
Must be able to travel occasionally including internationally
