There are several internship positions available in Safran Cabin - Water & Waste Systems Engineering team. Assigned projects will develop the successful candidates both technically and professionally. A technical mentor and supervisor will be assigned to each intern to ensure an engaging and productive assignment.
This internship position will support our Systems Engineering group and focus on creating a knowledge directory of the water & waste system architectures across all major commercial aircraft/platforms. In addition to the basic architecture, the directory will include description of the system operation and functional principles. The project affords the candidate direct practical application of system engineering principles in a real world aerospace industry environment. The candidate will learn about systems requirements management, mechanical, electrical, communication and physics phenomena, aircraft profiles and operating conditions, and the general aerospace development processes. A successful outcome of this internship will be a well rounded understanding of the basics of water and waste systems for commercial aerospace applications and identified optimizations of system architectures for a more sustainable aviation industry.
