Formulator - 2nd Shift - SCM NP

Safran Cabin Materials located in Newport, WA is recruiting for a:

Formulator - 2nd Shift
2:00pm to 10:30pm Monday through Friday
$20.00/hr plus $1.25/hr shift differential

Job duties include but are not limited to:
Dispense the correct proportions of various liquid or powdered materials into a mixing container using a digital scale.
Heat certain materials to change them to a mixable state.
Use of a Ross mixer or mixing vat to blend the materials together into a finished product.
Testing of finished products to verify physical properties.
Packaging of finished products.
Maintain correct storage conditions for finished products.
Maintain rotation and correct storage conditions of raw materials inventory.
Willing to cross train or transfer to other departments as needed.
Active participation in operational improvement activities.
Other duties as assigned and flexibility is key.
Willing to work overtime as needed.

Must have a sincere desire to work and be able to work independently or with a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
2+ years relevant, steady work history is preferred, manufacturing a plus.
Must have good basic math skills.
Must be able to speak/read/write English proficiently.
Must have legible handwriting/printing.
Must have the ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities.

Safran Cabin Materials requires a criminal background check and drug screen to be completed and passed for all positions.
