Core Saw Operator - WEPM Shift - $22.00/hr - $1000 sign on bonus - SCM NP

Safran Cabin Materials located in Newport, WA is recruiting for:

Core Saw Operator - WEPM Shift
4:00pm to 4:00am Friday to Sunday/Monday (alternates each week)
$20.00/hr plus $2.00/hr shift differential

Job duties include but are not limited to:
Operation of computerized saw to cut honeycomb core blocks into sheets.
Set up saw and cut materials to the correct size per Manufacturing Order (MO).
Monitor saw operation and make adjustments to assure quality standards are maintained.
Build shipping boxes for core sheets using pneumatic staple gun.
Fork lift operation (training provided).
Possess the ability to operator all equipment in the core saw department.
Active participation in operational improvement activities.
Cross train or transfer to other departments as needed.
Other task as needed and flexibility is key.
Willing to work overtime as needed.

Sincere desire to work and be able to work independently or with a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
2+ years relevant, steady work history is preferred, manufacturing a plus.
Good basic math skills.
Speak/read/write English proficiently.
Have legible handwriting/printing.
Ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities.

Safran Cabin Materials requires a criminal background check and drug screen to be completed and passed for all positions.
