Safran Cabin in Marysville, WA is searching for Sealant Operators!
6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Constructs aircraft interior and structure parts such as bin doors and ceiling panels by trimming the parts using hand tools such as routers, drills, etc. using engineering drawings, company and customer specifications.
Summary of Duties:
Operates and processes parts in trim area.
o Reports any part or process deficiencies to supervisor.
Safely trims parts per spec.
Properly maintains and identifies defects in Trim Drill Fixture and Hand Route Fixture and report any findings to supervisor.
Document the process to maintain traceability.
Adheres to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders.
Safely handles various regulated materials used in the process.
o Must carefully handle material and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality is not compromised by handling.
o All employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of Safran products.
o As business conditions change it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future.
o Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at division.
Ability to understand and communicate in English at a level necessary for successful job performance.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1-3 years. Minimum 1 year stable employment history preferred. Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Aerospace experience preferred. Experience with hand tools and/or air tools a plus.
Computer Skills: Basic ability to use Microsoft products.
Other Skills: Ability to read engineering blue prints is desirable
