Supervises the operation and performance of Stock Room(s) and the Stock Room Clerks, PC&L Specialists, Raw Material Clerks, Inventory Specialists, Expediters and Parts Movers that are associated with the Stock Room. Maintains high level of employee efficiency, safety, training and development in assigned department.
Duties and Responsibilities (essential functions):
A) Supervises routine activities of assigned personnel.
B) Communicates job responsibilities and duties including performance standards in assigned tasks.
C) Monitors routine operations insuring conformance to company policies and procedures relating to stocking of parts, moving parts, flow of parts and paperwork.
D) Maintains inventory accuracy & stock levels in accordance to company policies.
E) Coordinates with:
i) Stock Room & fabrication supervision to ensure shop orders are submitted and pulled to support the Spares shipping schedule

ii) Customer Service to ensure shippers are printed and inventory is pulled if needed for the area.
F) Coordinates with Customer Service to ensure shippers are printed and inventory is pulled if needed for the area.
G) Actively promotes safety in all areas.
H) Develops and maintains strong positive communication and working relations with other departments to maintain company goals.
I) Supervisory Responsibilities: Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable state and federal laws.
J) Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
K) Maintains effective safety program to prevent injuries and lost time.
L) Performs other duties as assigned.

Communication Skills: Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment. Ability to read and review written communication. Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.

Physical Demands: This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment. Finger dexterity needed in using misc. office equipment such as telephone, computer and copy machine, etc. Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to approximately twenty pounds are required during tasks related to the job.
Knowledge and Skills:
i) Must have good interpersonal skills.
ii) Must have good organizational skills.
iii) Must have knowledge of stock room/ inventory control, receiving requirement, or spare part distribution requirements.
iv) Must have ability to supervise employees' workflow and direct work goals.
Education and Experience:
i) High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related preferred.
ii) Must have 3 to 5 years' experience in material control environment, shipping/receiving, and material handling, and spare part distribution.
iii) Prefer experience leading people.
iv) Must have knowledge of MAPICS ,specifically MRP, PMC, COM, EPDM and/or IM modules.
v) Must have knowledge of PowerLink and Shop Floor Plus.
