Independently responsible for data collection/analysis/reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) e.g. QRQC, SIOP, OEM for the design engineering department at Safran Seats USA. This position interfaces regularly with Engineering Managers and Directors to communicate project and budget related data.

Physical Demands: This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment. Duties and Responsibilities (essential functions):
A) Develop and produce daily design engineering QRQC status reports.
B) Queries data using current in-house and third-party software applications, including (but not limited too) Excel, Access, BIRST, RMA, etc.
C) Independently coordinates the daily engineering analysis and reporting for QRQC metrics.
D) Utilizes tools to automate report delivery.
E) Documents sources of reports and steps necessary to generate complex engineering reports.
F) Supports necessary meetings as directed by Engineering Managers and/or Engineering Director.
G) Analyzes and evaluates content and performance of data queries, reports, and other data-based processes suggesting improvements to improve data validity.
H) Reviews and analyzes data from multiple internal and external sources with ability to interpret data that is not well documented or defined and develop recommendations based on findings.
I) Conducts detailed analysis of databases and systems to identify real or potential data quality issues, including accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
J) Communicates the data analysis to engineering management. Identifies and presents findings, and follows through to completion.
K) Support requests from external customers e.g. OEM's, other SSUSA departments, Safran Seats Company.
L) Responsible for the overall quality of data and reports.
M) Performs other departmental initiatives and related duties as required.
N) Performs other duties as assigned.
A) Knowledge and Skills:
i) Must have basic knowledge of data collection and analysis practices.
ii) Ability to navigate through large, complex data systems generated from multiple independent sources.
iii) Ability to work across functional boundaries, with excellent analytical, problem solving, communication, and presentation skills.
iv) Able to communicate clearly and build strong relationships across engineering groups.
v) Able to communicate effectively and support requests from external customers e.g. OEM's, other SSUSA departments, Safran Seats Company.
B) Education and Experience:
i) Requires an Associate's degree in Business, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field or combination of 3 years work experience and education related to the degree field if no Associate's degree.
ii) Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
iii) Requires 2 years of related experience in addition to meeting education requirement.
