Assembler Senior Lead

Leads will perform duties of their current classification. In addition, they will train employees, ensure team members have the proper parts and tools to perform work and communicate daily priority of work assignments to be completed (taking into account available manpower). Leads will not discipline, or monitor for the purpose of discipline, any employee

In order to hold lead position, an employee must have a minimum of five (5) years seniority with the Company and must have worked in one of the classifications they are seeking to lead for a minimum of two (2) years. If none, then employees with less than five (5) years seniority will be considered.

Other qualifications per FAR Part 65 - Certification: Airmen Other than Flight Crewmembers*

1. Be employed for a specific job requiring those special qualifications by a certificated repair station, or by a certificated commercial operator or certificated air carrier...
2. Have either -
a. At least 18 months of practical experience in the procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools, machine tools, and equipment general used in the maintenance duties of the specific job for which the person is to be employed and certificated;
b. Completed formal training that is acceptable to the Administrator and is specifically designed to qualify the applicant for the job on which the applicant is to be employed; and
3. Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language...

Selection: Will be made by a committee composed of the employee's current Supervisor/Manager, the Supervisor/Manager with the opening, the Manager/Director of the department, a Supervisor/Manager from another department and a representative from Human Resources.
