Maintains company book of accounts by preparing, collecting, and analyzing accounting data to communicate financial information to company organizations and external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Analyzes and interprets financial data for the purpose of developing appropriate accounting and financial policies;
Provides financial guidance and recommendations to management, customers, and employees;
Identifies and resolves complex financial issues;
Coordinates and reviews basic accounting functions;
Oversees billing, accounts payable, customers, and payroll;
Performs balance sheet account reconciliation;
Develops and applies internal controls to achieve accurate and efficient accounting systems;
Assist with audits and special projects;
Ensures compliance with government laws and regulations, policies, and professional standards;
Develops and implements new accounting methods and processes, as well as improvements to automated accounting systems;
Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture;
Regular, predictable attendance is required;
Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Accounting or Finance and 5-8 years of experience in accounting.
Ability to work with other team members to achieve desired results - Expert
Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access) - Expert
Must possess the ability to run and analyze Accounting reports and data - Expert
Knowledge of ERP system required - Advanced
Organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines – Expert
Ability to coordinate and direct work activities across finance functions - Advanced
