Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 3:30 PM to 01:00 AM
36 hours per week
The seamstress assembles various components of aircraft interior parts by the means of sewing.
Adheres to company specifications, work instructions, engineering prints and work orders.
Documents the materials used in the process to maintain traceability.
Sews an assortment of materials, including (but not limited to) tapestries, carpets, seat covers, nylon webbing, leather using various types of sewing machines.
Develops patterns (templates) for non-standards parts.
Must carefully handle raw material and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality is not compromised by handling.

As business conditions change it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future.
Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at the division.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: 0-3 years.
Other Skills: Ability to sew using industrial sewing equipment is desired.
Languages: Functional knowledge of French is mandatory. In the case where the knowledge of French is insufficient, the candidate must agree to achieve the required level on the job.
