Step on board for the adventure

A straightforward, step-by-step hiring process
You like to keep things clear and simple? So do we. Here's how the process works:
- You can track your application's status directly in your Candidate Area.
- If we short-list it, we will contact you to schedule:
- A phone interview.
- One or more face-to-face or online interviews with the manager and recruitment officer.
Whenever possible and depending on the job opening, we set up interviews with several people at a time. And they are always an opportunity to tour the facilities and meet the rest of the team.
- After that, the recruitment officer will reach out to you again to tell you about their decision.
- If you get the job, we will start preparing your onboarding.

We will be by your side before your first day on the job, with an onboarding program to introduce you to the Group as a whole and help you find your bearings in your new workplace.
Then we have an extensive mentoring program where seasoned team members will share their expertise, to help you ease into your new job and into the team.
Here, we foster inclusion and diversity
Did you think that, because we are at the leading edge of the aerospace industry, everyone here has to follow the same track and fit the same mold?
It's the opposite: we all bring something unique, our different perspectives crystallize into collective excellence, and collective excellence powers individual careers.
Diversity and inclusion, in other words, spark creativity, fast-track innovation, elevate performance and foster well-being at work. And the Group naturally fights discrimination in all areas.
At Safran, we are keeping a solid intergenerational balance by including young people from all backgrounds while retaining our experienced employees. To do that, we have for instance pledged to keep employees over 50 in jobs (so that they can hand down their knowledge in preparation for upcoming generation turnovers) and signed an agreement with IndustriALL Europe, a trade union federation, to contribute to vocational training for young people.

Gender balance will play a vital role in tackling the challenges on the road ahead! And we are helping to bring women into the aerospace industry in a variety of ways including an in-house mentoring program, training courses to build women's leadership skills and partnerships to interest women in science in general and our sector in particular.
Here, everyone can thrive whatever their disability
Safran's proactive policy to include people with disabilities dates back to 2010 and encompasses five areas: keeping employees with disabilities on the payroll, hiring people with disabilities, working with sheltered workshops and disabled-staffed companies, building disability-friendly workplaces to French standards, and upskilling the people overseeing and implementing its disability policy. It also includes an agreement in force in all Group organizations in France.

I hadn’t completed any training as a methods agent, and even less in plasma treatment. I’ve learned a lot on the job thanks to the training courses offered by Safran. You shouldn’t hesitate to apply, even if you don’t perfectly match the job description. Safran allows you to train and quickly develop your technical skills.
"A life to learn!"

Blazing new trails with a network of industrial schools
Safran is building a network of industrial schools, which now counts more than 70 around the world, both to meet growing demand for qualified employees in the aerospace industry and to upskill its own talents. These schools provide full-immersion, hands-on training, at a Safran base or partner specialist center, to work in production, repair or customer service. And they do more than teach a trade: they empower learners to excel in a fascinating industry!
At our industrial schools, you can learn techniques meeting the highest safety and quality standards in the industry, with innovative, edutaining methods.
Fair pay for all our talents
Our attractive and competitive compensation policy reaches across all our host countries, and we conduct surveys in domestic and foreign markets every year to keep packages up to date.
We make sure that we share the benefits arising from our growth in a fair manner through several employee savings mechanisms (in France):
- A Group-level profit-sharing agreement granting employees the equivalent of 1 additional month's salary per year (up to 2 months for employees in the lowest income brackets).
- Company-level incentive agreements granting employees bonuses amounting to 0.5 to 2 months' salary per year (pegged to the extent to which they fulfill their objectives).
- A Group-level employee savings mechanism granting employees matching employer contributions of up to €2,000 and providing a choice of five mutual funds including two invested in Safran shares.
- A collective retirement savings plan granting employees matching employer contributions of up to €1,000.
- Regular plans to increase employee shareholding. The one in 2025, for instance, awarded 10 Safran shares free of charge to all Group employees worldwide.
The other fringe benefits at Safran include competitive supplementary health insurance and a fully funded supplementary retirement fund for managers in France.
Outside France, Safran runs various profit-sharing schemes and an international Group savings plan enabling employees to invest in Safran shares including matching employer contributions.
