M1 Segment for the Extremely Large Telescope
With four times greater resolution than the most powerful telescope currently in use, the upcoming European E-ELT telescope by ESO features our unique European technological expertise in high-performance mirrors. It will feature a five-mirror design: segments of primary mirror (M1) will be displayed at our booth. In total, this mirror consists of 798 segments for a diameter of 39 meters.
