Sagem (Safran group) has developed marine gyrocompasses since before the Second World War.

Today, the firm is a world-renowned supplier of optronics and navigation solutions for defense applications. Sagem offers custom-tailored navigation, observation, surveillance and self-defense solutions for all marine applications.
